Man Lift Designs
There is an extensive variety of articulating lifts on the market. There is practically a kind of lift to fit each circumstance, application and work venue. There are certain manufacturers who specify in lifts for hazardous atmospheres like for example petro-chemical plants, underground tunnel situations, and other locations where there is a risk of explosive gases or dust, for example in grain-processing plants.

Other lifts have been designed specially to mount onto large flatbed trucks or onto trailers or onto the back of a pick up truck. There are models which include articulating booms which can be self-propelled and are controlled by the lift operator, whereas others could pivot 360 degrees.

There are lift models designed particularly for outdoor and indoor application, and come in 4-wheel and 2-wheel powered models. In some cases, the platforms are adjustable and some models feature baskets where the worker stands. These platforms or baskets are adjustable and enable the employees to swing into place or remain level, depending upon what the operator has to complete the task. There are several baskets and platforms which come wired so as to allow the operator to plug tools in as required.
