Established during 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family company within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, different types of presses, forklifts, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
In the year 1963, the company started crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.

FMgru sells and manufactures 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These machinery are designed and engineered for a variety of uses and there are available units that could cover all construction requirements.
Some units offer really flexible lifting options for businesses that are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and offer 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Other units include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg.
