Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you accomplish your needs, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible, many attachments have been engineered and developed such as winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and will debut in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
