Never let anyone on a forklift who isn't trained to use the forklift. Your business should develop and post in a visible location all forklift safety procedures.
Instead of going through training because staff are required to, they should have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer must help staff know the importance of correct training. Let them realize that they could kill or injure not only themselves, but other people, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to make certain that your employees undertake training seriously.
